Yeah seriously this episode was all Vince acting out of order. I can honsetly say vince was playing fool and trying to put it on Tamar. He know she extra but she was not acting any extra then what she regularlly is. Mskane you are right, Vince is lucky she put up with him. I tryed to see some kind of acttaction in him and he has nothing but the money.
The mosre I watch this show, the more I believe Vince is the problem in this relationship, he is so cold, distant and so easily irritated with Tamar, Yes she is over the top and a bit much but that's who you married, don't tell me she just became like that over night. I see many instances where Tamar tries to lighten the mood and he just has such a look of hatred on his face when dealing with her, I'm beginning to think she can do much better, emotionally than him. I be damn if I marry a chubby butt and he treats me like this.
Wow I think this episode more then any other really showed Vince for who he is like everyone else has said. Without the high emotions you can just really see how emotionally abusive Vince is to Tamar. What even makes it more evident is the way he communicates with the therapist, it's shocking to watch. It is clear that Vince does not like to be told or suggested what to do by ANYONE, no matter who they are, not even crew.
I hope Tamar realizes one day that she is worthy of having someone who truly appreciates her and respects her feelings the way one should when they claim to love you.
Vince has no manners like wow lol I know Tamar is a peice of work, but i highly doubt that this is a new found personality. Its possible that the fame could have amplified it but if they were "friends" before getting into a relationship he must've seen this side to her, so its confusing how all of a sudden he cant stand her mouth lol.. Vince is bright and faisty and OUT OF ODAH (thats for my Jamaican viewers lol) but I think after she gets a music career flowing, maybe a child as well ..divorce will come, sad but true. His money cant be that nice for her to be treating her like that, & we know she aint freezing her eggs for no reason, homeboy probably will have a heart attack tryna make a baby the old fashioned way, he betta GET HIS LIFE! lol

Wow, this episode really did it for me. When I first started watching BFVI couldnt belive someone like Tamar would be married to Vince then I thought maybe because he treats her right but from wqtching this show I see otherwise. To be honest I think after all the success the BFV got and really Tamar being the star of that show he has become jealous of her. That is probably why he blew up so big in Hawaii after she said he was jealous. Vince is an insecure man who is dealing with feelings in the past and needs to open up and move on, and that rude disrespectful shutting down he does needs to stop he needs to grow up before Tamar gets to a point where she will leave him. She got money too.
I read all theses comments and I must say no need to add, everyone saw what I just saw....VINCE ACTING A GOSH DAM FOOL!!! I will admit if this was not Tamar's fault.
What nobody has even seen is just that! Remember, what we are seeing is an edited version. Now, I'm not excusing or condoning Vince's behaviour on what we, the viewers see, but there is a bigger picture that is happening - not just the picture frame that we, as the viewers are seeing. Tamar comes across as very needy, insecure (look at her surgically reconstructed face,and her severe bleaching for instance) with the many over the top mannerisms that she always seems to seek validation from. Can you imagine, you have a wife, that is in her mid 30s and acting like a perpetual teenager? That must all be exhausting on her husband. Now, to reiterate, I am not excusing his behaviour, but we are just seeing a snapshot of their marriage on our screens. To be honest, viewing this series is uncomfortable, but it is my 'guilty pleasure', but Vince and Tamar need to divorce. They don't have any children or other responsibilities to each other; their relationship is toxic and unhealthy, and all the marriage counselling will not fix it. I know, because I am a counsellor:) Blessings
I agree that Tamar is also insecure, not just Vince. She is always seeking his approval and validation. And, two highly insecure/unstable people does not a good relationship make. Yet, like you said, we only see a glimpse of what life is like for them, so... Who are we to judge them or their situation.
Vince has deep emotional issues that he needs to work out that stem from his parents dying when he was young. He talks down to Tamar so bad. I know she isn't always like that so that's no excuse that well she's loud and obnoxious. Telling her don't talk to me and expecting her to just shut up like she's his child or something? Dude's emotions and ego is on 100. He needs some help. He doesn't know how to express his emotions - the only way he does is through shutting down or anger.
tamar likes to live in a fantasy world. she likes to feel like her time with her husband is like a new experience every single time. shes light hearted, she can be obnoxious but she means well. she wAnts all the good things and works for nothing she uses her big personality to cover her insecurities, so that nobody tramples on her feelings she deeply cares about people especially her husband. when hes at his weakest she shows how good of a woman she is. but she is also badly damaged and so is vince.
hes passive aggressive. he may not bark loud but hes just as obnoxious. h
For real she grown too. Her mouth is big with some stuff and she needs to know when to calm down sometimes it is embarrassing telling him to have several seats. I know men make you stand in a corner and watch them you want to give them so much respect and space and wait for him to finsih what he doing and call you. They aint got a mutual respect for each other. Vince needs to have told her flat out i dont want to talk about the situation in front of the camera. No human is a mind reader and thats why communication is key.
CANT STAND VINCE HERBERT. PERIOD! TAMAR NEEDS TO KEEP IT MOVING. I believe in tryna work things out especially if you are married, but it seems neither of them is willing to back down. Thank God there are no kids involved to witness 2 individuals being so awful to each other. I pray to God after watching this series they will seriously reflect and hopefully use it as a tool to patch things up. That will hopefully give them a reason to show us some growth in Season 2.
For the first time after watching this I actually felt sorry for Tamar.Vince obviously has some deep seated issues that he needs to resolve as they are starting to come out and make him act like an absolute monster. There were times when I wanted Tamar to go HAM on him and tell him about himself. I know I would have, then he'd have space to tell me I'm popping off at the mouth. He was just plain nasty in this episode!

I'm so over Vince and his grumpy, dismissive attitude. He is working my nerves. Yes Tamar is EXTRA, but dude you knew that BEFORE you married her. Additionally, you KNEW you were gonna be on camera so why all the exasperation? Ugh. Get YO life!
Vince is frustrated because he is insecure about his health and his weight. I believe that Tamar's not wanting to have his baby made him question her love for him and adds to his insecurity. He may have bought into the BLOGS comments that have said she married him for his money. Additionally, it doesn't seem like they are intimately connected on any level and definitely not physically (possibly due to his health). This can add extra stress on a marriage and make for some real issues in a man. Vince needs to humble himself, realize that Tamar loves him but has her own insecurities, and work on building his marriage. Tamar needs to stop being scared and needs to better communicate her feelings for Vince and make him feel like He is the only man in the world! She doesn't know how he feels about her either and Vince needs to reassure her in that area! Divorce is not the answer, marriage takes work. If they don't fix their issues now, they'll face them again with added drama (and less assets)with someone else.
